Through the Musical Cosmos

Through the Musical Cosmos: Episode 45

This episode of Through the Musical Cosmos features the music or Ronny Cox and Radoslav Lorkovic.  Not only does Ronny have an impressive list of film and TV credits, but he’s a most entertaining singer-songwriter and has several CDs to his name.  He tours regularly with Radoslav and has a grand time meeting and greeting his fans and telling stories about his fascinating life.

April 12 at the me&thee in Marblehead, MA will be no exception.  You’ll be sure to hear some stories about his very first film role in “Deliverance” also starring Burt Reynolds, Jon Voight, and Ned Beatty.  Who can forget the “Dueling Banjos” scene?  One of Ronny’s most recent TV roles was as “Deacon’s dad” Gideon Claybourne on the hit series “Nashville.” Ronny has plenty of stories and songs to regale his audiences with all evening long.

Check out Ronny’s website to learn more about him.

Here’s a video of Ronny in concert.

Radoslav Lorkovic is a sideman extraordinaire. Check out his website to see his long list of musical credits–playing with people like Jimmy LaFave, Ellis Paul, John Fullbright, Mary Gauthier, and Odetta among others.  In addition, Rad has recorded several CDs of his own.  His piano and accordion artistry is something to behold and you’ll be hearing it first hand at the me&thee on April 12.

Here’s a favorite clip of mine that shows Rad “warming up” before a show.
